Fort Williams Park welcomes groups traveling aboard motor coaches, vans, limousines, shuttles, and trolleys.
With the exception of season pass holders, drivers should follow the signs through the park to Central Parking for passenger unloading and loading. A Park Greeter will accept applicable fees for those without a pre-paid reservation. Commercial Passenger Vehicles with 31 or more seats are encouraged to complete the online Advanced Reservation Form to expedite their visit. A permit will be emailed upon receipt for the driver/tour leader to present to the Park Greeter in Central Parking.
The walk to the lighthouse from Central Parking is approximately 200 yards along a wide paved walkway with handrails and a series of benches to offer those with mobility challenges places to rest.
School groups should contact Community Services at 207-799-2868 to check availability in advance of a visit.
