Verna is a creative force in the field of early childhood education and has been for many years. She has been a part of Cape Care since 2014, serving as the Preschool Teacher for the “Caterpillars” classroom comprised of 3-4-year-old children. Verna holds a BS in Early Childhood Education from Southern Connecticut State College and has over 30 years of experience as a preschool instructor. She enjoys practicing yoga and dance, which she often incorporates into her preschool curriculum. Additionally, Verna has developed an Introduction to Spanish curriculum tailored to young children.
Verna has been a resident of Cape Elizabeth since 1990 and is the proud mother of two grown children and four grandchildren
